History of M/s. Shantilal B. Patel

M/s. Shantilal B. Patel was established in 1986, initially registered under the Machhalnara Project Division. The company's very first project was the construction of the Anna Nagrik Purvatha Godown, valued at 15 lakhs. From this modest beginning, the firm steadily expanded, successfully completing projects across various government departments.

In the year 2000, the company came under the leadership of Late Shri Mahendrabhai D. Patel, who became the principal driving force behind its growth. Under his guidance, the company executed numerous prestigious works, including projects in the GIDC Sector, major infrastructure developments, and landmark construction such as the SSG Hospital building. By 2005, the company diversified into the road construction sector under the PMGSY Scheme, achieving a remarkable milestone of developing a 2000 km staged network of rural roads under the supervision of NARRDA, New Delhi. This achievement earned the company the Best Road Project Award, further cementing its reputation for excellence.

Late Shri Mahendrabhai D. Patel's contributions were widely recognized, and he was nominated by the R&B Department, Gandhinagar, for the prestigious Padma Shri Award.
Expanding its footprint further, the company undertook significant projects such as the Panendro Project and the Kandla Port Project, spearheaded by Shri Kiritbhai D. Patel and Shri Kalpeshbhai S. Patel. In 2010, the firm was formally registered as a partnership company, with family members joining hands to strengthen and diversify operations. This new structure enabled the company to venture into additional sectors, including canal construction, distributaries, and other large-scale infrastructure projects.
